The Rain or Shine Theatre Company returns to Sibford School in June with a rip-roaring, fast-paced jaunt through Shakespeare’s best loved comedy, A Midsummer Night’s Dream.
The Gloucester-based company has been a popular feature in the school’s annual calendar since their debut visit in 2010. And this year’s production, which coincides with the 400th anniversary year of the death of Shakespeare, promises to be a real treat as guests are invited to join the lovers, Hermia, Helena, Lysander and Demetrius as Rain or Shine follow them into the intoxicating dream world of fairy queen and king, Titania and Oberon.
A Midsummer Night’s Dream takes place at Sibford on Wednesday 22 June. Gates open at 6.30pm for picnics (please bring own seating) and the performance will start at 7.30pm. Tickets cost £13 for adults, £11 for concessions and £6 for children. To book call the Credit Card Hotline on 03306 600541 or visit www.ticketweb.co.uk
