LeftQuoteTint I’ve been at Sibford for six years now and have never been disappointed by the amount of support offered to me regarding both academia and extra-curricular endeavours. People at Sibford seem to understand the value of mutual respect for each other … which may well be down to the small class sizes, which allow staff to get to know you on a more personal level, or because of the presence of Quakerism woven throughout daily life.

LeftQuoteTint My daughter is in the Junior School and my son is in the Senior School and both are incredibly happy at Sibford. We moved our kids from the local state primary when we noticed our eldest getting lost, socially and academically in large class sizes and were amazed by how quickly he regained his confidence and flourished. The support for kids with SENs is incredible – but equally, the children without SENs are supported and challenged in a gentle, non-pressurised way to fulfil their potential.

LeftQuoteTint My children (aged 12 and 13) are both at Sibford and are both exceptionally happy after moving from a private hot house at age 7 and 8! I just wish more parents could see the benefits of teaching happy children over academic pushing and shoving! The teachers are all passionate about their subjects which definitely rubs off on the children. They also have an absolutely zero tolerance approach to bullying – which I know is not the case in other local private schools. I would highly recommend if anyone is thinking of sending their children here.

LeftQuoteTint Our son is in the junior school at Sibford and loves it. As parents we could not be happier. It is a unique and wonderful place and we feel lucky to have discovered it when looking at schools just before our son was due to start school. With the new head in place it feels that there are exciting times ahead and we as a family are looking forward to being part of this new period in the school’s development.

LeftQuoteTint May I take this opportunity to thank you for your unwavering support and patience with my boys. We were very proud and happy with their overall GCSE results, as for them, with their academic challenges, it was a huge personal achievement to exceed a lot of their predicted grades.

LeftQuoteTint I have just received the school report and wanted to say how refreshing it was to find narrative on progress and areas to develop and not just a chart of letters and numbers which seems typical of many schools these days. I am pleased to see that our son is making good progress … with room to improve in some areas and the potential to really do well!

LeftQuoteTint Finnley is now in his second year at Sibford and as a parent I am very happy with the progress he has made since joining the school in Reception. Both my husband and I cannot talk highly enough about the school and its staff.

LeftQuoteTint My thanks to you for your contribution to Will’s progress and success at Sibford. He had his heart set on a career in drama, and you have been central in allowing him to find his way, while guiding him with your experience and deep knowledge of the exams, the subject and the business. A big pat on the back.

LeftQuoteTint It is hard to put into words the thanks and appreciation to you and your team and the amazing difference Sibford has made to Lucy in the last five years since discovering her dyslexia. She was absolutely delighted with her results particularly with her A*s and As. You should be proud of the culture and learning environment you have created to enable students like Lucy to thrive.

LeftQuoteTint We are writing to say thank you to you and all your staff. Jojo has a marvelous ‘set’ of results, which he is very happy with. As importantly to us, he has left Sibford as a confident, self-assured and mature young man – a position we did not think we would be in some five years ago. This is in no small way down to you, your ethos, and that of your staff.

LeftQuoteTint At Open Mornings you stress that Sibford School places a very high priority on the emotional well being of its young people. I am so grateful that this is what the school is about. It seems obvious to me that being comfortable in yourself, happy and confident, is a baseline from which other things follow. I am so pleased that Thomas has the opportunity to go to Sibford School and would like to say a big thank you to the School for its values, and to you and your staff for everything you do.

LeftQuoteTint As a whole family, we all feel that Sibford School, as a Quaker school, holds the values, the ethos and the style of teaching and learning that would be best for George. I cannot imagine a better place for his education as a whole person; with academic results being achieved through being a happy individual who feels safe and valued in his learning environment.

LeftQuoteTint Just wanted to say a BIG ‘Thank-you!’ to you and your staff for helping our son to settle in so quickly and easily! We are amazed at the change we have seen in him recently (and he only started in January!) He is more confident, enthusiastic and is actually taking more responsibility for himself as well as being so much more positive and happy!

LeftQuoteTint Thank you for the excellent education that George has received at Sibford [Junior School] over the last three years. He has been given a good grounding in the main building blocks which will assist him as he progresses into secondary level. But he has also learnt some sound core values and has made a number of very good friends.
