Parents from Sibford School near Banbury visited the Let’s Play project to hand over a cheque for £5,874.

The money was raised at a charity ball and auction organised by the Parents, Staff & Friends Association of Sibford School (PSFA).

Sammy Bates, Let’s Play Holiday Co-ordinator said: “To receive a donation like this is fantastic. It will supplement our costs for the play scheme we have been running throughout the summer holidays and has meant we were able to offer additional places to disabled young people.”

The Let’s Play Project, which is based at the back of St Mary’s School in Banbury, specialises in the provision of play and leisure opportunities for disabled young people age 5 – 18 years old. Whilst the majority of services are funded by Oxfordshire County Council, the charity relies heavily on donations to enable it to continue to supplement its provision of after school and holiday activities.
