sealed-knotThe normally peaceful atmosphere of Sibford School was interrupted by the ear-splitting sound of musket fire this week when members of the Sealed Knot, the oldest re-enactment society in the UK, visited the school.

Pupils were able to enjoy a hands-on history lesson as they examined weapons and learnt about the clothing, cookery technics and politics of the English Civil War era.
