Sibford School pupils will take part in a special enterprise session this week under the tutorship of Dragons’ Den winner Neil Westwood.
Neil and his wife Laura successfully gained £1000,000 investment for their company, Magic Whiteboard, from Dragons’ Den investors Theo Paphitis and Deborah Meaden in 2008.
And on Tuesday Neil, accompanied by Magic Whiteboard apprentice Harry Allen, will be conducting a Skype lecture and Q&A session with students.
Chris Orr, head of business studies at Sibford School, said: “This is an exciting opportunity for our year 9 pupils to learn about what is involved in setting up a business and the traits required for successful entrepreneurs.
“Magic Whiteboard is one of Dragons’ Den most successful investments. Earlier this month Neil and Laura met the Prime Minister at 10 Downing Street to talk about what the Government can do to help encourage young people to set up businesses, so the session should be extremely topical.”
