With most teenagers anxiously waiting until 13 August to receive news of their A Level results, five students from Sibford School have been given a head start.
The students have all completed a Level 3 Subsidiary Award in Countryside Management … and have already received their results.
Lee Mitchell and Joe Slatter achieved Distinction* (the equivalent of an A* at A Level); James Paton and Harry Rickard achieved Distinction (the equivalent of an A at A Level) and Charles Adams achieved a Merit (the equivalent of a C at A Level).
Course tutor Angy Bovill said: “The students have had a busy year planting a native hedge in the conservation area, carrying out grassland management work on a local farm and designing and implementing a new Interpretive Board aimed at supporting biodiversity in the habitats found in the conversation area.
“I am very proud of their achievements and wish them well in their future endeavours.”
