Your local Foodbanks need YOU!

We have been supporting Banbury Foodbank for sometime and have now added Stratford-Upon-Avon Foodbank to our list of whole school charities.
Currently Banbury urgently need: rice pudding, tinned vegetables (potatoes), instant potatoes, tinned fruit, long life juice and biscuits.
Meanwhile,. Stratford-Upon-Avon urgently need: tinned fruit, tea bags, dried pasta, UHT milk and breakfast cereals.
There is a trunk in the main school foyer where items can be placed and we will sort them and distribute these items when the trunk is full.

Snowdon climb

There is still time to join us for the Snowdon climb on Saturday 30 September. We would love to take 175 people up Snowdon to celebrate our 175th anniversary and, in addition to pupils, we would like to warmly invite Old Scholars, parents and former staff to join our party. We will be leaving school at 3.15pm on Friday 29th, staying overnight in Snowdonia before setting off on our climb on Saturday. We will return to Oxfordshire on Saturday evening. If you would like to get involved please email Simon Baker for further information.

Christmas Fayre

The PSFA Christmas Fayre takes place on Friday 1 December. We like to have a wide range of craft and gift stalls so if you run a business/are a keen crafter and would like to get involved please contact the school’s community development officer, Ali Bromhall for further information.

In March 2015 the school was inspected by the Independent Schools Inspectorate who stated that Sibford offers ‘a well-planned curriculum that is stimulating and of high quality’ and that enables all pupils ‘from the youngest through to those in the sixth form to make good progress’.  A summary of the report’s findings can be found hereTo view a full copy of the ISI report click here.
