Pupils pay tribute to musical legends

sibford_school_musical_legendsStudents from Sibford School will be paying tribute to musical legends past and present when they perform at The Mill Arts Centre in Banbury later this month.

For two consecutive nights, pupils will be presenting hits from the likes of Abba, Adele, Bruce Springsteen, Jimi Hendrix, Dusty Springfield, Coldplay and Amy Winehouse.

Sibford’s annual take-over of The Mill has become a firm fixture in the Arts Centre calendar since 2005. Previous gigs have featured tributes to the Beatles and Queen plus hits from the Seventies.

Music teacher Matt Platt said: “There are so many good bands and artists that it was difficult to decide who to include and who to leave out, however, we hope that the ones we have selected will provide a fun and entertaining evening.”

Sibford School presents Musical Legends takes place on Thursday 18th and Friday 19th April. Tickets cost £10 (concessions £8) and are available from the Mill Box Office on 01295 279002 or at www.themillartscentre.co.uk
