Sibford recognised for Pastoral Care

Relationships-v3Sibford School has been recognised for its high level of pastoral care/wellbeing by a national magazine.

The Autumn/Winter edition of The Week Independent Schools Guide highlighted the Quaker run school in a survey to find ‘schools at the top of their game’.

Journalist Emma Lee-Potter trawled through statistics, league tables and exam results as well as consulting a panel of education experts, parents and pupils to find the top public and prep schools.

Hurst Lodge School in Berkshire was named best for pastoral care/wellbeing with Sibford School being named as runner up.

Michael Goodwin, head of Sibford said: “We believe passionately in the uniqueness of every pupil and know it is our job to seek out and nurture their gifts and develop their confidences to meet the challenges of the 21st century. This means caring for both their educational and emotional wellbeing and we are delighted that our commitment to pastoral care has been recognised by an independent body such as The Week.”
