Two brothers are celebrating gaining a GCSE in Computer Science … despite both being under the normal age for sitting the exam.
Fifteen-year-old Sibford School pupil Harvey Edwards gained an A in his paper while his 12-year-old brother Harold gained a B. Harvey’s success was magnified by the B grade he achieved in GCSE General Studies.
Harold said: “It was a bit scary sitting the exam. I wanted to do it with my brother and thought it would be good experience. I thought if I didn’t get a good result I could always sit it again, but I’m really happy with the B.”
Harvey added: “I’m delighted with my results and I now go into Year 11 knowing that I already have two GCSEs.”
