Nick Luxmoore, a school counsellor, trainer and registered psychodrama psychotherapist, will be looking at the complexities of the teenage mind on Thursday (19 March) when he speaks to parents at Sibford School.

His talk, titled: ’The Enemy in my Head … helping young people make sense of their parents’, will start at 6.30pm. Earlier in the day Nick, who is the author of a number of books about working with young people, will be chatting to Sixth Form students and will also be giving a presentation to staff.

Nick has over 36 years’ experience of working with young people and with the professionals who support them. His career has included teaching English and Drama in schools and prisons, teaching counselling at Oxford Brookes University, running a youth centre and youth theatre, setting up and managing a young people’s counselling and information service, working as a school counsellor and as a counsellor with young refugees and asylum seekers.
