The events detailed below are all open to the general public.

OPEN DAY WEB SQUARE

The Sibford School Annual Open Day will take place on Saturday 15 June from 9am. Be sure to come along and take part in the activities and displays put on by our pupils, staff and parents. More details to follow once the programme has been finalised.

Sibford Community Orchestra
Sunday 12 May 2019, 2.30pm ~ 4.30pm

Sibford Community Orchestra is open to instrumentalists from the Sibfords and the surrounding area. This is a wonderful opportunity for musicians to experience playing in an orchestra, explore a variety of musical styles and enjoy developing new skills. Rehearsals take place once a month on a Sunday, 2.30 – 4.30pm at Sibford School, and are open to players of all ages and abilities from the local area. Our aim is to play a variety of music styles and develop a vibrant orchestra, under the musical direction of James Topp and Noriko Tsuzaki.

Cost of joining the orchestra is £36 for 12 sessions or pro rata. For further information contact Fiona Hudson or James Topp.

Sibford School will be operating its Fun in the Country Holiday Club  for children aged 5 – 11 during the May half term.

The club will run from Tuesday 28th – Friday 31st May.

Activities include swimming, team games, cookery, arts and crafts, sport, outdoor play, and much, much more.

As You Like It – Al Fresco Summer Theatre
Wednesday 19 June 2019, 7.30 pm (doors at 6.30pm)

The cast of professional theatre company Rain or Shine, hailed by ‘The Stage’ as ‘one of the best companies touring open air theatre’, are set to delight family audiences once again this summer with their production of Shakespeare’s cross-gartered and hilarious cross-dressing comedy As You Like It.

The performance takes place in the House Garden at Sibford School, on Wednesday 19th June. The garden will open for picnics at 6.30pm and the performance will start at 7.30pm.

Tickets cost £14 for adults, £13 for concessions and £7 for children and are available online via TicketWeb.
