At Sibford we offer a broad and balanced curriculum. All disciplines are equally respected and pupils are taught in small classes where dedicated teachers nurture, inspire and stretch each individual, encouraging them to find their inner light.
Our taught curriculum is greatly enriched by conferences, concerts, exhibitions and the extensive use of our fully staffed library and excellent ICT facilities.
At Key Stage 3 (Years 7 – 9) pupils study a wide range of subjects designed to help them discover and develop their own individual talents. In Years 10 and 11, we have a core curriculum of English, Mathematics, Science, Religious Studies, Physical Education and Personal, Social and Health Education, while option choices are carefully constructed after consultation with parents and pupils.
Creativity is key to the approach we take to life at Sibford. Our art school includes large studios for painting, textiles, ceramics and sculpture; our purpose built music school offers a full range of facilities with practice rooms, a fully equipped technical studio and delightful ensemble room; and our dedicated drama studio enables the teaching of both performance and technical studies.
All pupils follow a physical education programme that aims to promote health and physical development.
