Sibford Sixth Form offers a wide choice of study options and the flexibility to build a programme that suits individual skills, abilities and interests.
We offer a broad range of over 24 courses including A Levels, BTEC Level 3 and BTEC Level 2.
Most students will take three courses over two years and breadth of study is achieved through the Extended Project Qualification.
Our examination results are consistently high and in value added terms we continue to excel.
Specialist help is available to support students with specific learning difficulties and for those whose first language is not English.
Sibford Sixth Form provides a full support programme for students looking to apply to university. This includes having an extensive range of external talks and workshops to help with preparing and completing personal statements, filling in the UCAS application form and helping students to make appropriate choices and successful applications. We have signed up to Unifrog which is a data base that enables students to compare university courses in the UK and rank them using a range of factors. Because all the data is in one place, it’s easy to make comparisons so the student is more able to assess which course is best for their individual circumstances.
For those wishing to apply for Apprenticeships, we have a designated Careers Adviser who will support students to compare apprenticeship vacancies in the UK and rank them against each using a range of factors such as distance from home, weekly wage and completion rates. We also offer a series of apprenticeship talks to consider opportunities as well as visits to apprenticeship fairs.
