Art Technician (Part Time)

We require a part time Art Technician to start as soon as possible.  This post involves co-ordinating the use of practical resources and facilities and supporting the teachers of Art, Textiles and Ceramics in meeting the practical needs of the curriculum. Applicants should be educated to at least A level and IT competent.  Knowledge of screen printing techniques is particularly desirable.  The successful candidate will demonstrate an interest in the work of the Art department together with a practical approach, and the ability to plan ahead using their own initiative. The role will involve maintenance of light machinery such as sewing machines and printing presses, along with preparation of materials, such as cutting wood/board/Perspex to size, preparing silk screens, clay, paint, ink, dyes and fabrics as required and mounting and hanging work. Training can be provided as necessary.  Previous experience is not required.  More important is attention to detail, high personal standards and a genuine interest in providing a facility in which pupils can excel. For further information please email: or call 01295 781200. Resident Graduate Assistant ~ Full time

For September 2018 we seek to appoint Resident Graduate Assistants for the academic year 2018/19. This role will involve general assistance in different areas of school life, together with some boarding/weekend duties. The post holder will be paid a salary and live in a shared house on site with all meals provided during term time. This would be an excellent opportunity for a person wishing to develop a career in teaching or working with young people in another capacity. Part-time Lifeguard

Sibford School is currently seeking a qualified part-time lifeguard to work mainly weekdays and evenings.  Applicants should possess a current lifeguard qualification or be prepared to undertake the necessary training and seek employment in a busy swimming pool which is open to both pupils and the public

Cover for Games Afternoons
