Sibford School will host its annual Open Day on Saturday (13 June). The event, which will start at 9.30am, is open to parents of prospective pupils together with parents of current pupils, friends of the school and old scholars
Theme for 2015 is ‘Celebrating Excellence’ … in reference to the school’s recent glowing inspection report that featured a total of 45 ‘excellent’ judgements.
Sibford head, Michael Goodwin, said: “The inspection report was published at the end of May and so this is the first public opportunity we will have to share the results which recognise excellence across the board and give praise to all pupils, from the youngest through to those in the sixth form. It promises to be a great event and we look forward to welcoming friends old and new.”
Open Day will start with special celebratory performance, featuring music and drama students and members of the Sixth Form leadership team. There will be a talk for parents of prospective pupils and their families at 11am. Other events taking place include: displays; exhibitions; practical demonstrations; a French Café; pig roast; and a host of fun activities … including maypole dancing, zorbing and a bouncy castle. All welcome.
